We're very excited to announce some more great news! Afrovibe Backpackers has been nominated for a Sanlam Knysna Award in the BEST TOURISM ESTABLISHMENT category and the owner Lyle Katzen has been nominated BEST YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR.
Afrovibe, barely 2 and a half years old, attracts adventure-lovers from all over our globe to the greater Knysna district. More often than not, locals and foreign guests get hooked on the Afrovibe and feel compelled to extend their stay to experience more of what this beautiful part of our country offers.

Since October 2010 Sedgefield was declared as Africa’s first Cittaslow town. The concept was inspired by Paulo Saturtini's great idea, a former mayor of 'Greve', a town in the famous Chianti wine region of Tuscany in Italy.
As easily miss-able as it is, just off the N2 on the right hand side past the Total Garage, you drive straight for a further 10 seconds and you will get introduced to the beautiful view of the Swartvlei Lagoon. As you drive for a further 5 minutes in a straight line and turn right towards Myoli Beach then you will have arrived at your destination …. the Afrovibe House of Adventure!
